LOS CABOS — THE WALKABLE PARTY

Every party destination promises a great night out. Los Cabos is the one place in México that delivers it without vehicles. The entire nightlife scene of Cabo San Lucas sits in one compact downtown grid beside the marina — a strip where bars and clubs stack up block after block, and where a group of ten can hit five venues in a night without anyone touching a taxi app. For bachelorette crews, birthday squads and any group whose worst nightmare is losing three people between stops, that geography is the whole game.
Start at the marina at golden hour and the night unfolds naturally: the boardwalk feeds directly into the downtown blocks, the music gets louder street by street, and the crowd thickens toward the center of the strip. By midnight the gravitational pull of the district takes over, because downtown Cabo has something almost no party town on earth still has — a true anchor institution.
THE ANCHOR: EL SQUID ROE, SINCE 1989
El Squid Roe has been the landmark of Cabo San Lucas nightlife since 1989 — a multi-level, no-rules party institution where every big Cabo night traditionally ends. It is also the reason this network exists: Get Party Access is operated by Cabo Hospitality LLC, the venue family behind El Squid Roe. When our passes promise express entry, that promise is backed by actually controlling the most important door on the strip — the “we own the door” model explained on our about page. Around that anchor, the network connects 7 partner venues across downtown, so a hosted crawl moves through real clubs and bars with arranged group entry at every stop.
WHAT A NIGHT LOOKS LIKE
On the hosted formats, your VIP host meets the group downtown, handles every door, keeps the welcome shots flowing and walks everyone from venue to venue — five bars on the crawl formats, three top clubs on the flagship night. On the open-bar pass you pick the club and drink house drinks unlimited for two hours. Because the strip is walkable, the transitions between venues take minutes, not taxi rides — which is why Cabo crawls stay together in a way that spread-out destinations simply cannot match.
Daytime is the other half of the Cabo argument. Boat charters leave from the marina a few minutes' walk from the strip; Land's End and the famous arch are a short water-taxi hop; beach clubs line the bay. The classic group formula — boat day, taco recovery, big night out — happens entirely inside one small radius, which is exactly what you want when the group chat has twelve opinions and one shared calendar.
WHEN TO GO
Los Cabos is a true year-round destination. Winter through spring is the sweet spot — dry, warm and buzzing, with March the biggest party month of the calendar and whale season running roughly December through April as a daytime bonus. Summer is hotter and quieter with better lodging prices; the strip still fires every weekend. Holiday weeks — New Year's, spring break, Cinco de Mayo, Halloween — sell out venues fastest, which is exactly when reserving spots ahead with a deposit earns its keep.
THE FOUR PASSES
Los Cabos runs the full network catalog — four per-person passes, reserved online with a small deposit that always counts toward your total. Balance is paid at check-in, card or cash, taxes included. Transportation, premium drinks and gratuity are not included on any pass, and every night is 18+ with valid photo ID.
| Pass | Total / person | Deposit online |
|---|---|---|
| 2hrs of Open Bar Downtown | $75 | $20 |
| Best Clubs in Cabo | $120 | $25 |
| Downtown Cabo Bar Crawl | $65 | $15 |
| Bachelor •ette Party | $65 | $15 |
Cancel 72+ hours before your night for a full deposit refund; within 72 hours the deposit is non-refundable but your date can be moved. The full mechanics of the model — skip-the-line economics, what “open bar” covers, the questions to ask any operator — are in how nightlife passes work.
WHO LOS CABOS SUITS
Choose Cabo if your group wants to stay together on foot all night, if you are flying from the US West Coast or Texas (the shortest, cheapest routes), or if the trip is built around a guest of honor — the Bachelor•ette Party pass exists precisely for that. If you are torn between the two cities on the network, the honest head-to-head is on the destinations comparison and in Cabo vs Cancún for a bachelorette. Planning a March trip?
